Turns out my cousin goes by she/they and is Pan! After finding this out, I mentioned that I’m aroace and we had a really nice chat about our experiences. Though we aren’t actual cousins, we decided to call the podcast “Your Gay Cousins” because, well, everybody has a gay cousin (and if you don’t, surprise, you’re the gay cousin). Pride month is almost over, and you might be wondering how I celebrated these past few weeks. Well, I did what any great ally should do, all month I’ve been calling my gay cousin just my cousin. I love my gay cousin—sorry, my cousin—Jeremy. He came out a few years ago as bisexual. This is a two-person show performed by two butch actors. One plays Diana. The other, in drag, plays Nelu and a host of other characters from his life.
